The Computer Department of SSSS College of Commerce for Women, Amritsar organized a workshop on the theme “Live Working Project Training” from February 16 2026 to February 18 2026. The session aimed to introduce students with todays’s industry –driven IT ecosystem. The resource persons S. Jaskaran Singh and Mr. Amit Kumar from Shakti Tech conducted the sessions. Twenty Four students of BCA semester IV attended this training program. The primary objective of this workshop was to orient the students about Python Programming & HTML/CSS Web Development and preparing them to learn how to apply the theoretical knowledge to industry-standard practicals, to meet the demands of the current IT ecosystem, and to strengthen their problem-solving abilities and program flow understanding. The curriculum focused on (i) Core Programming: Mastery of Python logic and structured programming (ii)
Front-End Development: Hands-on exposure to HTML and CSS for web interfaces and (iii) Practical Logic: Applying calculation-based problem-solving and debugging techniques.
Upon the conclusion of the workshop students gained practical exposure to real-time problem solving and debugging that improved their ability to explain program flow and logic with confidence. Ms. Kiranjit Kaur, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, successfully coordinated and supervised the entire course.
